Shanghai Fashion Week: A Trade City Looks Toward SS27

Shanghai’s SS27 fashion calendar begins with MODE, the official supporting trade exhibition of Shanghai Fashion Week, scheduled from 8 to 12 October 2026 at Crystal Bridge in Changning District.

MODE connects designers and fashion businesses with buyers, press and industry professionals. Its role is less about a single dramatic runway image and more about the infrastructure behind fashion: showroom culture, new labels, production, retail and international exchange.

Shanghai gives FP Runway a different view of the season. Here, fashion is not only presented as a finished image. It is also a network of materials, manufacturers, creative studios and rapidly changing urban spaces.
